My best selling book of 2020 was………. Yep, the Chilling, True Terror of the Black-Eyed Kids: A Monster Compilation – Second Edition now with 23 ratings and an average of 4.3 out of 5 according to Amazon. It moved 454 books (kindle, paperback and audio) in 2020. In fact, I just re-edited the book in paperback and kindle formats to give it fresh legs. Top Contributor Star Wars has this to say about the book – This book is a collection of eerie encounters with the black eyed kids, shared with the author via his website. Some pre date the internet, some are fairly recently and contain both children and adults with black eyed that are frightening. The few who allowed them inside did not fare well. Most cases involving the kids trying to get permission to come inside, which most people refuse. The author also presents some background and a bit of history in the phenomenon. The stories are creepy and you will undoubtedly want to read this book with the lights on.

In second place was The Scary Best of MyHauntedlifeToo.com: True Stories of the Paranormal which has now 8 ratings from readers for a 4.6 out of 5 on Amazon. It’s available in kindle and paperback formats. It moved 419 copies during 2020. Kindle Customer Rebecca says “Some of the stories were such a shock to me that I’m still reeling from it. I want to say “what the —-!”. But I don’t swear. Thanks for sharing. I think. Lol“

A distant third place was occupied by Your Haunted Lives 3 – The Black-Eyed Kids, which is actually also the first part of Chilling Tales above. So to some extent, they are pretty much the same book. It sold an additional 127 copies in 2020 and has a 4.7 average rating out of 5 from 17 reviewers. Will5967 says of the book “G. Michael Vasey is fast becoming a person of considerable interest in the occult/paranormal field of study, and his examination of the BEK phenomenon is a superb example of just exactly why his reputation is well earned.
