Today I thought I’d continue mapping a couple of energy lines south through Brno. So off I went. The two lines almost come together at the point that I started but from there, get further apart. This meant that eventually, I could no longer track both lines.

Anyhow, I mapped the lines slowly but surely and then cam to a part of town that makes it difficult. Very busy major roads and industrial sites or the central cemetery. But I picked one to stick with. To my amazement it took a sudden change in direction and across the cemetery. So I drove around and started trying to find it. I did and then started to back track.

Now this is where it gets weird.

Two and a half years ago, I decided to but a new build apartment out of town. Its been a ride as everything got delayed and screwed up by COVID. But at the time, I went out to the site and stood by the side of the foundations. Yes, it felt good. It felt right. I signed the purchase.

So imagine my surprise as I stood in that very spot again mapping that energy line.

Yes, that line goes within 5m of my new apartment!
